The Trophy Kids in the Workplace: How the Millennial generation is impacting the workplace

Do you have any “Trophy Kids” working in your department? Who are these kids and why do they think that work should be all fun, games and social networking? Ron Alsop, columnist for the Wall Street Journal, has written a book titled “The Trophy Kids Grow Up”, which sheds light on the major differences between the work styles of Generation X and Generation Y employees. This call will focus on sharing these differences and the effect this generation of workers is having in our working environments.

This topic should provide good insight into working with multiple generations in the same environment and give suggestions for how to make your workplace operate efficiently and still involve everyone in the process.
