APWA Opposes Proposed Cuts to FEMA

APWA has joined 16 other member groups of the Stafford Act Coalition in a letter to members of the House and Senate opposing President Trump's proposed cuts for fiscal year 2018 to the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA). The recommended cuts were included in the President's "skinny budget" released this past March.

The Stafford Act Coalition represents emergency managers, first responders, elected officials and other professionals working daily to protect the nation from natural and man-made disasters.
