For more than 100 years, the APWA International Public Works Congress & Exposition has drawn thousands of public works professionals from all over the world. If you're like many, you have limited resources for professional development, so you've chosen APWA's Congress as your preferred venue for:
Outstanding education sessions that address current public works issues—as well as ongoing challenges. Choose from more than 125 technical and professional development sessions that will be presented by your colleagues—who will impart their vital knowledge and experience to you. APWA's education sessions are based on the very latest learning models—classroom, interactive and "live" learning labs.
The chance to see an extensive gathering of exhibitors and The Expo Experience that will showcase the latest products, services and technologies specific to public works. APWA's exhibit floor encompasses nearly 90,000 square feet! Special "non-compete" hours allow you to visit the floor—uninterrupted.
Opportunities to network with your peers, hone your leadership abilities and learn new job skills. APWA offers Congress attendees MANY opportunities to meet and mingle with your peers—the Get Acquainted Party, Awards Ceremony and more! Build lasting professional relationships and make a few lifelong friends at the same time.
APWA's Congress features more than 125 technical and professional development sessions presented by your colleagues and industry vendors. There's no better way to learn than from those who are "in the know." You can earn CEUs and PDHs that will add value to the information you learn onsite. The Expo Experience—keeping in line with the impressive size of our host site—will be the BEST ever!
The 2013 exhibit floor isn’t your ordinary exhibit floor—it's an EXPERIENCE. Yes, we’ll still have the great lineup of vendors you’re used to seeing with outstanding product displays, fabulous prize drawings, lunch on the floor, and exhibitor showcase presentations, plus a whole lot more.
We’ve added so much more to the experience, you might have a hard time leaving! When you’re not in an education session, you’ll want to check out all of the action at the EXPO EXPERIENCE. We’ll be bringing you live interviews with session speakers throughout the week, you’ll have multiple opportunities to connect with your colleagues, we’ll have more prize drawings than ever, you can discover the newest “APPs in Public Works” and, as always, you can keep up with your friends and colleagues at the cyber stations.
If that isn't enough to get you on the exhibit floor to enjoy the EXPO EXPERIENCE, you can also earn CEUs for attending exhibitor showcase presentations!
The 2013 EXPO EXPERIENCE will be a place to LEARN, DISCOVER, and HAVE FUN! So put it in your plans now—we know you’ll want to spend a few more hours at the EXPO EXPERIENCE.
You may have recently received correspondence from Fair Guide that referenced the APWA Congress and Expo. The company that sent this letter requested that you update your contact information in order to “keep the Fair Guide up-to-date” and will invoice you for their services at a later date. These Fair Guides are NOT an APWA publication or website. APWA is in no way involved with or in business with Fair Guide, Fairguide.com, Construct Data, or AUMA.
Furthermore, APWA did not supply these companies with your contact information and has no affiliation with them. Whether you decide to list your company in any Fair Guide is solely your decision. It does not affect your relationship with APWA in any way. APWA maintains their own records of exhibitors and produces its own Show Program and Exhibitors Guide for its trade shows. Please note that there is only one official housing vendor for the 2013 APWA Congress and Expo. Room reservation requests will be accepted via the APWA Housing Website and the APWA Hotel Registration Form only. If you are contacted by any outside vendors regarding hotel reservations via any other means, please be aware that they are NOT an APWA authorized vendor. As of this moment, room reservation requests are not yet being accepted, but the form and website will be going live and appear online in March.
On behalf of Show Management, we wanted to bring these important matters to your attention to ensure that we are providing you with the most reliable resources for the upcoming show.
Should you be contacted by any of these outside housing or publication companies directly, please pass that information to Show Management so we can take the appropriate course of action to police this situation going forward. If you have any questions regarding which housing vendors have been approved by APWA, please e-mail APWAexhibitor@ntpshow.com or call (800) 687-7469 x219.
