You will also find information from winter maintenance professionals about the vast benefits of networking, continuous education, and staying up to date with the rapidly evolving technological trends in the world of snowfighting.

Attendees must pre-register and purchase either a full registration or a Monday one-day registration, and then also purchase a $25 ticket to the First-Timers and DEI Breakfast.

Snow Trek

Monday, April 29
6:00–10:00 p.m.

“Snow trekking” is always one of our most popular activities at the Snow Conference! Our hosts with the APWA KC Metro Chapter have planned a fun Monday evening, with trek stops at four popular pubs located near one another in downtown KC. Pubs include Lifted Spirits, Casual Animal Brewing Co., City Barrel, and Nimble Brewing. Each of these locations are within steps of each other. You can choose to take a short walk from one of our official Snow Conference hotels. Or jump on the streetcar and get off at the 18th and Main stop—you’ll be a few steps away from any one of the four locations. It couldn’t be easier to get in on the fun!

Full attendee and guest/spouse registrants will receive a Snow Trek ticket with their badge. This ticket must be exchanged at the chapter’s Hospitality area for a Snow Trek Booklet with drink tickets. Exhibitors and guests can purchase the booklet with drink tickets at KC Metro Chapter Hospitality.

Blood Drive

Monday, April 29 and Tuesday, April 30
10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. each day

We want to give you a chance to give back to our host community, so we’re partnering with Community Blood Center to host our second annual Snow Conference blood drive. Community Blood Center will have a mobile truck available outside the Kansas City Convention Center along 13th Street. Pre-registration is encouraged but not required. To sign-up to donate blood or learn more about how you can participate, download our information flyer.

Hosted by the KC Metro Chapter and sponsored by Henderson, the annual Snow Celebration is the closing reception on Tuesday evening. This fun, casual evening will give you a chance to mingle with friends new and old while enjoying delicious, wood-fired rotisserie chicken, a cold beverage, and some friendly competition. Our event venue this year is Chicken N Pickle, a unique, indoor/outdoor family entertainment complex in North Kansas City that includes a casual, chef-driven restaurant and sports bar, pickleball courts, a variety of yard games like corn hole and giant Jenga, as well as trivia games. Shuttle transportation will be provided with more details to be posted.

The Snow Celebration is included with full attendee and guest/spouse registrations. Exhibitors and guests can purchase tickets for $50 each.
